154 Design specializes in the design of residential homes. We design new homes and renovation projects of any scale. We service projects in Vermont, Northern California, Baja Mexico and throughout the United States and beyond.

We create spaces for living that are simple, efficient and unique. Our home designs range from classic farmhouses to sleek ultra modern homes. Old and new style can be blended to create timeless beauty.

New Homes, Renovations, Additions, Kitchens, Bathrooms, Garages, Offices

We provide full design services from project concept through construction. You can pick what level of design support is right for you. A small bathroom project may just need a design consultation while design of a new home may include a full plan set with renderings, zoning and building department coordination, color, material and lighting design, and construction supervision through project completion.

Our design process on larger projects involves multiple builder pricing sessions until you are comfortable with the design and cost. We work with known builders that are reliable and proven. A team is built with contractors and vendors so the fine details of design can be crafted.

Our experienced team works within a system that ensures client’s goals are achieved, control over budget is maintained and the project moves forward in a logical, consistent manner. The design, permit, bid and construction process may seem overwhelming and our goal is to create a simple process with gratifying end results. Our knowledge is vast and we recommend everything that is needed while giving owner’s total control over the outcome.

Principal Designer

Andy's love for architecture and designing began at an early age. Andy founded Sustainable Green Designs in 2005 which became 154 Design in 2016. 154 Design focusses on design of custom homes and helping our clients succeed with their building projects. A large part of our process is understanding our clients needs.

Creating beautiful functional homes that reflect our client's vision of home is important at 154 Design. Andy listens well and transforms our client’s ideas and needs into thoughtful design. Our company works as a team with clients, engineers and building contractors to assure that designs are fully realized.

Andy serves the community of Hinesburg as a member of the town's Development Review Board.

Louise Jeffrey

Building Consultant

Louise earned a B.A. Environmental Science from Mount Holyoke College in 2000. She went on to study at University of California Berkeley Sustainable Design Program and became a USGBC LEED accredited professional and a Build it Green certified green building professional.

At 154 Design we like to set our clients up for success for all aspects of their design and building projects. We offer full project management services that can help you complete your project on time and within budget. Louise has extensive experience managing residential construction projects from foundation to finish details. She works as an interface between our clients, contractors and vendors.
